Paul McCartney to Open 2012 London Olympics

Sir Paul McCartney is noted to kick off the celebration of the 2012 Olympics in London on July 27. Unfortunately, the Olympics will not be a Beatles reunion with McCartney and Ringo Starr as some people had hoped.

McCartney advised organizers that he&#8217s up for performing the show but ultimate specifics have not been organized yet.
